What are we looking for?

General Qualifications

SPECIFIC AND REQUIRED SKILLS RELATED TO THE POSITION

 Know-how

-  Bachelor’s Degree; preferably mechanical or metallurgical and materials engineering,

-  Deep knowledge of quality assurance tools such as P-FMEA, 8D, QRQC, SPC, MSA, 5S, etc.,

-  Demonstrated knowledge of testing/ controlling best practices, defect management processes,

-  At least 5 years of experience in production environment preferably in welding and painting,

-  Good level in English, preferably French.

 Behavioural skills (in line with the 7 principles)

-  Autonomous, capable of evaluating risks correctly, taking initiatives,

-  Rigorous and armed with strong attention faculties notably in selective and sustained attention when working in chaotic environments with numerous stimulants,

-  Knows when and how to prioritize, skillful in managing various tasks,

-  Eloquent, easy-going, empathetic and good listener,

-  Experienced in working with various departments, evaluate & challenge requests,

-  Being able to adapt to different working culture (factories & customers),

-  Self-aware and resilient when faced with problems,

-  Analytical, rational and able to break down a complex problem via problem-solving methods.

Job Description

-    Set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked by applying a preventive quality approach (SPC, Poka yoke, etc.) with focus on “First Time Right”,

-    Monitor the entire production cycle, report on malfunctions and corrective actions (e.g. defective parts ratio),

-    Manage customer complaints and work closely with the aftersales department for the analysis of warranty returns,

-    Collaborate with or lead cross-functional teams when solving quality problems and challenge the team in the application of problem-solving tools,

-    Participate to PFMEA studies and continuous improvement activities,

-    Conduct product audits/ controls on supplied components, final products and work in process materials,

-    Coordinate with customers or 3rth party auditors to ensure product and process compliance and lead certification activities (TSE, CE, ISO 9001, etc.),

-    Ensure that procedures and work instructions are documented according to corporate, national and applicable international standards,

-    Approve or reject supplied components with respect to quality standards,

-    Manage complaints against suppliers, ensure analysis and correction with the proper method (e.g. QRQR, 8D, 4D),

-    Conduct internal and supplier process audits, follow action plans and verify their effectiveness,

-    Manage measuring systems including MSA studies and device verifications as well calibrations.
