Senior Finance and Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Finance and Accounting Specialistto work at Evans Kaan Air Havacılık Hizmetleri A.Ş.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.       Handle the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, payments, credit and collections, and other transactions.

2.       Prepare general journals, Balance Sheets reconciliation including Bank reconciliation for monthly accounts closing.

3.       Prepare Monthly Reporting Package (FRP) and weekly, monthly and yearly cash flow reports.

4.       Managing cash flow on a daily, weekly, monthly, and semi-annual basis

5.       Prepare budgeting and forecasting reports; and analyze variances among realized, budget and previous year’s realized figures.

6.       Preparing and analyzing operating profit and loss statements (monthly and semi-annually)

7.       Monitoring customer collections regularly  

8.       Communicating and negotiating with banks

9.       Audits expenditures, ensuring compliance with the accounting procedures of the organization.

10.   Monitors expenditures and prepares monthly financial statements and administrative reports.

11.   Tracking customer receivables and preparing Statement of Account (SOA) reports weekly.

12.   Entering all third-party invoices and service details into the daily customer invoice detail table.

13.   Preparing weekly accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) reports for vendor payments and customer collections.

Mandatory Qualifications and Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.

·         Minimum 3 years work experience, prior experience in aviation preferred

·         Proficiency in English.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

·         Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

·         Extensive knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.

·         Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting and financial software.
