Qualifications / Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university;
• Minimum of 5 years overseeing the execution of EHS programs at infrastructural projects or construction project sites and Service Sites.

Desired Characteristics
• Ability to travel about 65% of the time
• Related Health & Safety and Environmental expertise as primary responsibility, 
• GWO, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001Trainings preferred
•Local Regulative OHS Certification is a MUST (For Turkey Level A or B)
• Hands-on or direct experience executing an EHS program at a project or service operation and fixed facilities
• Strong knowledge and experience with Local Regulative obligations and Laws;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Currently residing within the SubZone oftheMENAT Region
• Able to communicate in English
• Expertise in lifting operations, work at heights and/or electrical safety highly desired
• Experience in construction project management
• Experience training construction workers on basic EHS programs
• Demonstrated ability to influence, organize, motivate and lead teams, drive change, and interact cross-functionally
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact with internal and external customers, and all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to facilitate and conduct presentations with large and small groups

İŞ TANIMI

Role Summary/Purpose
This role will work as frontline EHS to manage EHS performance at project sites and field services locations, which includes local regulatory, internal EHS programs and customer requirements. Focus will be on high-risk operations such as lifting, working at heights and electrical safety. The person in this role will be located at the SubZone and report to the Regional PS EHS Manager.
 
Essential Responsibilities
• Leads and coaches 3rd Party EHS Projects/Services Staff
• Responsible from local regulative Compliance
• Individual will provide day-to-day EHS works for service and project activities at related SubZone.
• Provide support and guidance to employees & contractors to ensure EHS is effectively implemented
• Ensure efficiency of the Site EHS management system, consistently with Sector/Corporate EHS systems.
• Management (Safety visits and action plan monitoring)
• Identify EHS training needs for the Site in coordination with Regional EHS Manager and HR
• Managing Training Matrix implementation, Develops training, delivers it and supports rollout
• Develops EHS Plans for Project Sites and monitors
• Ensure EHS Resources on Site
• E&C (site mobilization, Risks Assessments & Method Statements, Control of Contractors)
• Ensure EHS Risk Assessments are effective, updated and communicated
• Monitor applicable EHS regulations and ensure Site's compliance with local regulations (country/state)
• Perform regular EHS inspections to the sites and follow-up findings
• Investigate EHS events and implement lessons learned
• Monitor and report EHS KPIs for SubZone, enters EHS related data to Gensuite
• Implement regional programs issued by MENAT PS EHS
• Contractors validation into SGS or Comply Works
• Responsible from SubZone Gensuite data management;Trainings, Actions, Calendars etc.
• Follow and lead EHS Service Management programs – SWP and FW2.0
• Weekly EHS Management meeting with Field
• Organize safety equipment inspections
• Organizes Emergency Drills at Sites
• Coordinates PPE supply
• Investigates incidents and serious Near misses
• Coordinates Country Concern Reporting process
