LM Wind Power İzmir / Bergama Plant established in 2017 and as of today operating with 850 Operators and Office Employees / Engineers at Bergama Organize Sanayi Bölgesi. We are looking for a team member as “Center of Excellence Manager” supports mainly the Plant Director as well Plant Management Team in running the plant by providing timely and effective executive assistance support to the plant.

The Center of Excellence Manager will be responsible for Plant’s Center of Excellence Governance, coordinating, executing and consolidating Center of Excellence performance supporting GE & LM Wind Power Policies and targets. Ensure the right training needed to develop and qualify employee’s skills, ensuring that training objectives are met facilitating and guidance through a variety of learning methods. The person will report directly to the Plant Director and will be based in Bergama Plant.

 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FROM

Center of Excellence Strategy

  • Implement Policies and Procedures for Center of Excellence Standardization.
  • Guarantee continuous alignment within GE & LM Wind Power Strategy/Policies with Center of Excellence training.
  • Coaching, advice, support to develop a Culture of High Center of Excellence Performance Level.
  • Analyze the Plants employee’s skills and identify gaps to determine training needs to accomplish plant goals.
  • Use known/new learning principles, methods and techniques with learning effectiveness propose.
  • Assess and report training effectiveness to determining how the impact of the training affects Plant key performance indicators.
  • Responsible to achieve the readiness level of qualified trainers.
  • Support all strategic initiatives that require training and cultural changes.
  • Permanent knowledge and information about Strategy.
  • Support others Center of Excellence, Ramp Ups or New Plants when is required.
  • Ambassador of HSE, Quality, LMPS, Integrity and other Company principles and culture.

Standardization

  • Plan, Coordinate, Execute and Consolidate Center of Excellence Performance to ensure 100% compliance with Center of Excellence Procedure, Training Material and Image to stablish a uniform global training.
  • Responsible of the onboarding for all new employees.
  • Skill Matrix
  • Prepare training plan for qualification and requalification status level of blue collar employees to organize together with production managers and supervisors the training plan and needs.
  • Ensure that Training Material is used properly.
  • Manage Corporate and Technical Training when needed.
  • Schedule, coordinate and execute technical manufacturing training and retraining.
  • Guarantee the continuous update and report of the Skills Matrix Qualification Level
  • Manage and Analyze Skills Matrix to seek training opportunities.
  • Guarantee trainers qualification.
  • Documentation & Control
  • Ensure training is properly operated.
  • Constant coaching trainers and mentors.
  • Work with the shop floor supervisors on identification of additional training needs and coordinate training or retraining.
  • Ensure correct translation of training material and give feedback regarding improvements.
  • Assurance that all documents and training records required to control the Center of Excellence Governance (attendance, assessment evaluation, practical evaluation, etc.) are collected and gathered.
  • Support and maintain ISO certification requirements for training program and deliver action plans if needed.

Other

  • Organize and Improve Center of Excellence Rooms, Facilities, Equipment and Image.
  • Coordinate and support with functions training needs.
  • Collect, analyze and report data regarding Center of Excellence Performance.
  • Collaborate with Global or Regional Teams to give continuous feedback and share best practices.
  • Provide continuously feedback on improvements and proposals to elevate the standard and quality of the Center of Excellence Performance

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Because there are so many different types of responsibilities associated with Center of Excellence Coordinator, people who work in these position need to have a broad skills base:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering,Business Administration, Economic or Finance
  • Min. 5 years of experience in similar roles either under HR, Lean Manufacturing or Engineering Structures
  • Passion and willingness to be a partner to Blue Collar Operators
  • High level of English (both verbal and written)
  • Leadership skills, Internal customer focus.
  • Strong Communication written & spoken
  • Interpersonal skills to enable to work with people at all levels.
  • Agent to drive change, good skills of Planning & Organization.
  • Data gathering & analysis; Continuous improvement and Innovative mindset.
  • Strong Coaching skills, Result oriented and good skills in Engineering Mindset
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle: assess skills/training needs, plan, develop, coordinate, conduct and evaluated training needs to cover the gaps that need to be addressed.
  • Ability to translate complex problems and concepts in training/facilitating initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Training Methodologies and techniques.
  • Knowledge and experience with adult instructional and learning theory and principles
  • Strong training facilitation skills
