We are looking for a Category Specialist to join our Commerce Team at GittiGidiyor. If you are driven to win, have an ownership approach, can build meaningful cross-functional relationships, and are ready to make an exciting move, we would love to hear from you!

Qualifications:

• University degree
• 1 to 3 years of experience in fashion & (Sports&Shoes )
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work in a demanding business environment
• Good in English communication
• Good command of MS Office applications, especially very good in Excel
• Experience in reporting tools & processes

Responsibilities:

• Optimize product assortment, listings quality, monitoring the pricing strategy in the related category and merchandising campaigns.
• Identify and evaluate new product/service opportunities, contact with the sellers to develop the existing product range, conduct price negotiations with the sellers.
• Guide existing and potential sellers to scale their business on GittiGidiyor.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, activities and strategies.
• Determine annual and seasonal category strategy by evaluating national and international developments in the sector, data regarding categories past practice and performance, and the targeted customer needs and expectations.
• Build up the related category tree, demanding new category start-ups in accordance with the requirements.
• Storm and present campaign ideas in coordination with the marketing team and sellers.
• Act in accordance with the demands of Category Manager in the required reporting process.
• To implement and manage supplier selection, evaluation and commissioning activities according to the platform process.
