Qualifications

• Graduated from Engineering departments of universities,
• Preferably with a minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions in the automotive industry,
• Able to speak English at an advanced level,
• Advanced ability to use MS Office programs and SAP application,
• Prone to team work, analytical thinking and goal-result oriented,
• Having strong negotiation and communication skills,
• Having a class B driver’s license and being able to actively drive,
• Candidates who can reside in Bursa and have no travel restrictions.

Job Description

• Regularly conducting demand and supply market analysis for the categories under responsibility, creating purchasing strategies and preparing and implementing relevant action plans,
• Carrying out purchasing processes in line with strategic purchasing principles in all purchasing categories, especially the relevant category,
• Ensuring the coordination of purchasing and supply transactions regarding the relevant category in all countries,
• Periodically conducting category-based expenditure analyzes and reporting them to managers,
• Researching purchasing opportunities to create cost and quality advantages and creating suggestions,
• Leading the negotiation and selection of suppliers on behalf of group operations,
• Managing the definition, measurement and development of category-based performance reports and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures,
• Managing all purchasing processes related to the category,
• Managing risks in the purchasing process and finding alternative solutions in the relevant purchasing category,
• Creating and developing the supplier portfolio. Managing the optimization of the approved supplier list,
• Conducting supplier consolidation and expenditure analysis to increase efficiency in the relevant purchasing category,
• Conducting value engineering and cost studies,
• Directing business units within the scope of product development and service to be provided,
• Conducting trend, technical and market analysis of economic data and the main raw materials within the scope and to follow the market.
