QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Formal Degree in Computer Science,
- Experience in PC/Mac Troubleshooting and Support,
- Experience in Windows10/MacOS Troubleshooting and Support,
- Ability to take a methodical and logical approach to situations,
- Knowledge of a wide range of computer systems software, applications, hardware, networking, and communications,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ensure that IT support jobs are completed in a timely and efficient manner,
- Perform basic problem solving and assistance on various software applications and hardware systems for users,
- Provide technical support across the company, perform routine technical assistance and maintenance duties,
- Install, configure and maintain computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices. Repair and replace equipment as necessary,
- Capture all Issues / Change / work completed within the company’s helpdesk system,
- Maintain computer systems and networks,
- Review, evaluate and recommend solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates,
- Ensure machine builds are kept up to date, and that equipment is running in an optimal way,
- Ensure that all systems are documented and kept up to date,
- Maintain and update record keeping system; document projects and maintain user instructions,
- Assist with the implementation of technology projects with moderate scope and impact.
