Operation Manager

We are searching for an Operation Manager for our MENA operations.

He/She will report to the functional and disciplinary managers.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•  Undergraduate degree or special additional subject-specific qualifications as well as at least 5 years of extensive professional experience as Operations Manager in small/medium size company focused in assembling processes
• Strong consulting expertise in Production/Operations environment to provide expert professional guidance and direction to employees
• Strategic, integrative and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Expertise in technical and PEP (Production Engineering & Planning) knowledge as well as lean production methods
• Ability to manage relationships, conflicts, problem solving also across different hierarchy levels
• Fluency in the English language is a prerequisite
• Good skills in MS Office and SAP; the candidate will cover an active role in the coming SAP roll out

JOB PURPOSE

• Direct and manage the overall operations of the plant
• Identify and implement lean manufactruing and continuous improvement activities in the plant
• Track and define action plans with reference to the main KPI's: Production Overhead, Direct Labor Productivity, Operating Expense, customer CDP and supplier OTD
• Functional and disciplinary management of employees and develop  responsibility, discipline and culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
• Ensure the developing of an efficient Operations organization; support the roll out of SAP in the medium term
• Ensure consistency of production programs, material planning and allocation of available resources in order to meet the client’s satisfaction
• Ensure observance to deadlines, cost targets, quality targets as well as material consumptions
• Ensure compliance with resources, labor legislation as well as health and safety regulations.
