QUALIFICATIONS

• Secure 100% on-time deliveries to customers, meeting all required planning & logistics specifications, while continuously reducing inventory levels and planning & logistics costs.
• Manage upstream (towards Suppliers) and downstream (towards Customers) physical and information flows of the Plant (and SILS if applicable).
• Guarantee a flawless Planning & Logistics launch for new programs.
• Improve continuously the Plant Planning & Logistics, based on lean principles and best practices.
• Ensure the correct use of the Plant ERP system(s) in terms of Planning & Logistics functionalities.
• Set-up and commit to the Planning & Logistics budget and performance metrics.
• Provide leadership to his/her team (coach, mentor, develop, train) and to local Plant Management.
• Respect Company Group and/or Division policies and standards.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Promote a safety-first climate in all areas of the Planning & Logistics, ensure that all safety policies are understood and respected, and lead-by-example for the well-being of all  employees and external stakeholders as well as for the overall efficiency.
• Guarantee a smooth planning cycle through an efficient S&OP, MPS incl. CRP and MRP process so that resources (man / machine / material) are available to meet customer requirements.
• Target the highest possible level of material control (e.g. goods receipt, internal stock movements, production bookings, scrap reporting, shipping, BOM accuracy, phase-outs, etc.) in order to prevent financial, operational and supply chain risks and if occurring, to be managed properly. 
• Optimize layout and warehouse operations, respecting FIFO.
• Ensure smooth Planning & Logistics launches for new programs to deliver right-first-time during the project phases according to customer specifications & to meet internal operational and financial premises.
• Safeguard the correct use of the Plant ERP system(s) in terms of Planning & Logistics functionalities and initiate action plans in collaboration with Group and/or Division Planning & Logistics Management in case the existing ERP system is not capable to meet customer specifications (requiring system developments).
• Establish a robust Planning & Logistics budget, and review actuals in order to meet the premises.
• Control all Supply Chain processes through monitoring Planning & Logistics performance metrics (KPI).
• Manage and lead the Planning & Logistics team professionally aiming for the best cultural fit, motivation, well-being as well as individual and team performance.
