?? Position Summary

 Lead end-to-end project execution with a strong focus on modernization of lines, operational efficiency, process optimization, and continuous improvement. This includes managing initiatives to enhance the efficiency, safety, and quality of production processes while ensuring standardization and continuity.

?? What will you be doing?

• Identify improvement needs for machinery and equipment on existing and new production lines and manage related investment activities.
• Conduct research, design, and feasibility studies for the development of new and existing machinery.
• Prepare technical specifications for investment projects and manage supplier communication and quotation processes.
• Evaluate supplier proposals from both technical and commercial perspectives and present recommendations to management.
• Lead installation, and commissioning processes for new machinery and equipment modifications.
• Monitor the performance of ordered machinery, analyse issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure availability of technical documentation and required training to support uninterrupted production.
• Research emerging technologies and systems to improve production efficiency and assess their applicability.
• Track and monitor corrective and preventive actions related to production and engineering processes.
• Lead projects end-to-end from requirements definition through deployment, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Define project scope, quality, and performance standards and manage project risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate internal teams and external resources, including suppliers and third-party partners, to achieve project objectives.
• Build, lead, and motivate project teams to ensure high performance and successful delivery
• Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress, outcomes, and risks.

�? Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field)
• 10+ years of experience as a project manager or in a similar role as production manager, process development manager.
• Proficiency in process development frameworks and lean methodologies/tools like 5S, Kanban, and Six Sigma
• Proven experience in machinery investments, engineering projects, or industrial project management
• Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery commissioning, and automation systems
• Experience in project management methodologies, budgeting, and risk management
• Ability to manage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate technical proposals
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach
• Proficiency in English and preferably someone who has a good command of German
