Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lawyer with expertise in the energy sector to provide strategic legal counsel and support across various aspects of our business operations.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy law, with a focus on regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and corporate governance. Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and support on energy-related matters, including regulatory compliance, permitting, and licensing requirements.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including power purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and procurement contracts.

Conduct legal research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging issues affecting the energy sector.

Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and executives, to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.

Manage external legal counsel and consultants as necessary, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of legal services.

Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and best practices to promote legal compliance and risk management.

Qualifications:

 Turkish law degree (LL.B) from a leading university with a strong academic record

Minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law.

Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and agreements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
