Job Description – Wind Turbine O&M Service TechnicianThe Wind Turbine O&M Service Technician is responsible for carrying out the operation and maintenance (O&M) services of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) in accordance with project schedules, company specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements. The role includes troubleshooting, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, retrofits, inspections, component replacement, operational data analysis, customer communication, and service reporting.(ENGLISH MUST) WORK LOCATION: AGRI, SINOP, ANKARA, AFYON, TEKIRDAG.
Key Responsibilities1. Wind Turbine Operation & Maintenance
- Carry out O&M services for WTGs in accordance with project schedules, company specifications, andapplicable technical and safety standards.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities,inspections, repairs, retrofits, and technical service tasks.
- Respond promptly to technical issues and perform troubleshooting related to electrical, mechanical, and software systems, as well as component replacement,to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
- Complete defect-elimination tasks efficiently and in accordance with company procedures.
- Analyze wind turbine operational data to identify potential issues and support safe, reliable, and efficient turbine operation.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding completed, ongoing, and upcoming service activities and repairs.
- Perform pre-COD (Commercial Operation Date) service activities, including completion checklist reviews, manual reviews, andother required technical documentation checks.
- Perform post-COD service activities, including wind turbine inspections and scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance.
- Conduct on-site inspections and monitor the work quality of installation contractors to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate operation, maintenance, inspection, and service reports to customers and relevant internal teams.
2. Warehouse, Tools & Spare Parts Management
- Manage warehouse-related activities and ensure the availability of required materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Order materials, tools, and spare parts when needed andmaintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained, stored, and ready for safe use.
3. Record Keeping & Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, spare parts usage, andother relevant technical documentation.
- Complete required administrative tasks and ensure that all service-related documentation is submitted accurately and on time.
4. Additional Responsibilities
- Complete other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the companyor direct supervisor based on operational and project requirements.
5. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Comply with all company HSE policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Actively identify, prevent, and report potential hazards and unsafe conditions encountered during work activities.
- Report HSE incidents in a timely, accurate, and truthful manner.
- Participate actively in HSE activities, training sessions, safety meetings, and initiatives organized by the department and the company's HSE team.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure that all work activities are carried out in accordance with applicable HSE standards and procedures.
