We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and eager-to-learn Finance & Accounting Specialist for our global business partner, France-based global chemical distribution company. 

In this role, you will actively take part in the operational "kitchen" of local accounting processes while directly supporting the CFO in financial analysis, budgeting, and international reporting (IFRS) systems, offering a great opportunity for fast-paced professional growth.

 Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Month-End Operations: Providing active support in entering necessary accruals, invoices, and month-end closing records via the ERP system; ensuring local accounting processes are executed in full compliance with local regulations.

• International Reporting Support: Participating in the data preparation processes for routine financial reporting packages (P&L, Balance Sheet) sent to the French headquarters within the first 5 business days of each month, and supporting the CFO’s ad-hoc analysis requests.

• Participation in IFRS Processes: Working closely with the CFO and the senior finance team to align internal financial data with IFRS standards, taking hands-on responsibility in international reporting workflows.

• Treasury & Financial Risk Tracking: Monitoring bank transactions (collections, FX transactions, transfers) via the ERP system, controlling customer credit limits, and keeping cash flow statements up to date (Operational collection calls are out of scope).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years of multi-functional experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Candidates who have built a solid foundation in general accounting but are highly motivated to specialize in financial analysis and management reporting).

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related disciplines (Analytical backgrounds are highly preferred).

• Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must to smoothly manage correspondence with the French HQ and handle reporting packages on international software.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

• Approach & Soft Skills: Highly diligent in managing operational kitchen tasks (booking, reconciliation, tracking), combined with an analytical mindset to see the "big picture" and develop financial analysis skills under direct CFO mentorship.
