Production Engineer

We are looking for a "Production Engineer" in Menemen on behalf of our global partner operating in the wind energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field,
• At least 1 years of experience in a production environment,
• Proven experience with time studies, line balancing, and process improvement tools,
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies,
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and productivity measurement,
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SAP and PowerBI is a plus,
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with shop-floor teams,
• Hands-on approach and willingness to be present in production areas.

Job Description

• Analyze and design production workflows to improve efficiency in manual operations,
• Identify bottlenecks and develop improvement plans for cycle time, labor utilization, and throughput,
• Implement Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Kaizen, standard work, line balancing, visual management),
• Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manual processes,
• Conduct time & motion studies to determine and improve labor requirements and takt time,
• Monitor daily production targets and support supervisors in resolving operational issues,
• Work with quality teams to manage defects originating in manual processes,
• Implement root cause analyses (5 Why, Fishbone) and corrective actions,
• Support implementation of proper workstation design, handling methods, and PPE use,
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory production standards,
• Lead improvement projects to reduce costs and improve productivity,
• Drive automation feasibility studies even in labor-intensive areas,
• Support training programs to increase operator skill and flexibility,
• Participate in new product introduction and process validation activities.
