Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Methods Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles, manufacturing methods, and production process optimization.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of production processes and shopfloor operations.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools, including 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, OEE, Standard Work, Work Measurement, Time & Motion Studies, and Line Balancing.
• Experience in production routing, capacity planning, workforce planning, layout optimization, and manufacturing data management.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret manufacturing data and drive data-driven decision making.
• Experience in leading or participating in cross-functional continuous improvement, productivity improvement, cost reduction, or operational excellence projects.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and solving complex manufacturing challenges.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and manufacturing master data management is considered an asset.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing methods, production processes, and operational standards to maximize productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Lead and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives by applying methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, OEE, and Standard Work.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize production routings, manufacturing methods, standard work, and related engineering master data within ERP systems.
• Conduct work measurement, time studies, capacity analysis, and workforce planning to establish efficient and sustainable manufacturing standards.
• Optimize production layouts, material flow, and line balancing to improve operational performance and resource utilization.
• Drive initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across manufacturing operations.
• Support new product industrialization by defining manufacturing processes, operation sequences, and production methods.
• Support manufacturing strategy by performing process feasibility and make-or-buy analyses for new products and production requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Purchasing, R&D, and suppliers to deliver sustainable process improvements and manufacturing solutions.
