Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
• Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximise network efficiency and security
• Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
• Analyze critical systems and make suggestions for improving the system
• Arranging scheduled upgrades
• Perform IP management and planning of Data Center and access services
• Create reports and documentation outlining findings and solutions

Core Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Engineering
• At least 3 years experience
• Experience in configurating Juniper, Huawei core devices,
• Experienced in TCP / IP, Ethernet, WAN, LAN infrastructure and technologies
• Experienced in MPLS, GPON, L2TP, Routing, Switching Protocols
• Experienced in network security systems and standards
• Knowledgeable network monitoring applications (MRTG, PRTG, ANM)
• Documenting and reporting, strong communication skills,
• Strong Analytical, Proactive Approach to Problems, Negotiating Ability, Reporting Skills
• Completed military service for male candidates
