What is the job about?

The Finance Business Partner for Industry in India, the Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) will be accountable for all Finance matters related to Industry in IMEA and will act as a Single Point-Of-Contact (SPOC) between Industry IMEA and the finance community. Co-owns the entire strategy process in the performance unit and be responsible for setting ambitious financial targets, deploying them into the organization, and delivering on the ambitions.

Currently, we, Grundfos, are aiming to further strengthen our regional management capacity in Industry in Turkey.

As Finance Business Partner, provides timely and accurate decision support for the business operations in the entire value chain.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities are:

• FinanceBusiness Partner for Industry in IMEAmanagement team
• Accountable for Finance for Industry in IMEA
• Execute the agreed strategy and be a key contributor in establishing and delivering on short and long term financial targets
• Continue the implementation of a performance management mindset and alignment to the rest of the organization including the Industry Finance Business Partner management team
• Continue implementing a group profitability mindset for Industry in IMEAbusiness
• Securing transparency and clarity on performance metrics and financial numbers end to end
• Take the Industry IMEA strategy, interpret and translate this to the business view and integrate it with planning models
• Establishing a plan for an easy-to-work-with financial system and concepts
• Drives the annual target setting process in the performance unit
• Drives the planning process including annual target setting, budgets, forecasts, and coordinating business reviews (BRMs) prioritizing a forward view, and acting proactively
• Establish clear Financial and performance KPIs and links to staff incentive schemes.
• Consolidates budgets and controls expenses
• Collect information and controls investments from business case to evaluation
• Developing business plans for new initiatives and strategic direction
• Establishing pricing processes in close alignment with Industry IMEASales
• Be involved in providing key facts and arguments for negotiations with top customers
• Ensure that a high standard of ethical norms is embedded into all processes and tasks throughout Industry IMEA and adherence to Grundfos internal control standards

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

To be considered for this position you should fulfill the following requirements:

• Minimum 5-8 years experience in full value chain Financial Management
• The Finance Business Partner must be able to understand the requirements and processes around negotiations with top customers as part of a negotiations team and be able to provide valuable input and key arguments for the negotiation process
• The Finance Business Partner must be able to deliver progress by interacting in a global Finance Delivery model with dotted lines and no direct employees. Leading through others is a key competence.
• The Finance Business Partner must be able to prioritize focus on what matters for the business and focus on delivering high quality through the Finance Delivery Model. This will include setting priorities and managing time in a framework of sometimes limited resource
• Good understanding of all relevant business processes across functional areas
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP are a must
• Strong personality and high ethical norms
• Independent executor, high drive, and a great motivator
• Able to influence relevant stakeholders with strong argumentation, presentation of facts and data, and good communication skills
• Creates results through others, while maintaining good relationships
• Must be self-motivated and able to participate in daily routines as a “hands-on” person
• University degree in relevant field – management accounting, finance, accounting, economy, or equivalent
• A Masters degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
• Fluency in English (written and orally)
• Must be prepared to assume a high degree of responsibility and possess the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Must possess strong technical and analytic skills
• Must be project-oriented, with good social and communication skills. Willingness and ability to work in an international environment a must
• Must be able to demonstrate prior experience with getting things done through others
