Halavet Food founded in 2011, Halavet Food is Turkey's first and Europe's largest edible bovine gelatin producer.

The company, which produces gelatin and collagen peptides in its factories in İstanbul and Bolu, delivers its products to more than 65 countries around the word.

Halavet is looking for a “Product Development Engineer” with the following qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of gelatin and collagen raw materials
• At least 2 years of technical support or application experience in at least one of the food, food supplement, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with good customer relationship skills
• Willingness to travel for customer visits
• Good written and spoken English
• Good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM/ERP systems is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a good ability to work in a team

 Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers about product applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and food supplement industries
• Take an active role in customer trials of new products and evaluate the results
• Visit customers to give technical presentations and organize product training
• Provide solutions based on customer needs and support formulation studies when needed
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Sales teams to understand and communicate customer needs
• Support the preparation of technical documents, product guides, and data sheets
