• The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years of indirect purchasing experience including a large supplier database.
• Strong communication, problem solving, follow-up and analytical skills required
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and to adapt to a fast changing environment
• Ability to implement new processes or systems for improvement
• Patience and ability to manage stress.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Strong command in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Access.
• Self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
• Ability to make travels.

• Supporting the company to establish a solid Policy & Procedure of Procurement for all non-trading activities
• Assessing costs and negotiating vendor and supply prices with comparable price analysis
• Making purchase decisions in accordance with company procedures and regulations (with respect to local laws and policies)
• Preparing the new contracts and following up the existing ones.
• Identifying departmental needs with related managers to clarify purchase requisitions
• Providing purchasing planning and being a part of the budget preparations
• Investigating new sources for supplies and products
• Identifying and select vendors and suppliers using criteria such as quantity and quality of commodities, price, and delivery date
• Placing orders to procure requisitioned items or services and solving problems in an efficient and timely manner
• Managing the supply base and evaluating the performance of the vendors
