Country Manager
About Job
We are looking for an experienced and strategicCountry Manager to lead and oversee all Visa Application Centre (VAC) operations within the assigned country.
This role will be responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, customer satisfaction, stakeholder engagement, and business growth while ensuring full compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Postgraduate degree preferred,
- 10–15 years of professional experience in relevant sectors such as BPO, Travel, Hospitality, Visa Services, or Operations Management,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership/management role,
- Proven experience in managinglarge-scale and multi-location operations,
- Strong financial acumen with experience inbudgeting, cost control, profitability, and EBIT management,
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and operational excellence,
- Strong leadership, people management, and team development capabilities,
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills,
- Cross-functional knowledge acrossHR, IT, Finance, Administration, and Operations,
- Fluency in English is required; additional foreign language skills are considered an advantage.
Job Description
- Lead and manage all Visa Application Centre (VAC) operations within the assigned country, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and service standards,
- Ensure operational compliance, adherence to internal processes, and achievement of definedSLAs,
- Drive profitability and achieve country financial targets, including EBIT performance,
- Manage budgets, expenses, and resource utilization to maximize operational efficiency,
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction,
- Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and operational manuals,
- Ensure compliance with physical security, data protection, and regulatory requirements,
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing operational teams while driving employee engagement and productivity,
- Build and maintain strong relationships withEmbassies, Consulates, Ministries, and Business Partners,
- Support client retention initiatives, contract renewals, and rebidding processes,
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the development of value-added services,
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to support strategic business planning.
