About Globalink
Globalink is an AI-powered cross-border e-commerce platform that enables Turkish manufacturers and brands to sell on international marketplaces — from Amazon to Noon to emerging European platforms — with zero commissions and zero operational burden on the seller.
We handle the entire e-export value chain: product data harmonization, marketplace integration, pricing optimization, logistics, customer service, returns, and regulatory compliance. Our AI engine sits at the core — automating category mapping, content optimization, and pricing across multiple countries and marketplaces from a single integration point.
We are live in USA, Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, with expansion into Eastern Europe and the Balkans underway. The company is backed by an experienced leadership team with 10+ years of cross-border e-commerce track record (Modanisa, Hepsiburada/NASDAQ: HEPS), headquartered in Istanbul with an R&D office at Kocaeli Technopark and a Tech Hub in Kosovo.
We are early-stage and growing fast. These are founding-team-era hires.
The Role
We are looking for Operations & Commercial Interns who want to get hands-on experience in every corner of a cross-border e-commerce startup. This is not a sit-and-observe internship. You will work alongside the core team — handling real operational tasks, supporting commercial workflows, and gaining exposure to everything from marketplace integrations to order management to seller onboarding.
If you are the type of person who sees a task and jumps on it before being asked, who treats a startup internship as a career launchpad rather than a CV line, and who thrives in fast-paced, figure-it-out environments — we want to meet you.
3 to 5 days per week, minimum 3 days in-office, Istanbul. The role requires a minimum of 3 full working days per week, with the flexibility to work 4 or 5 days depending on availability and workload. On the days you work, you need to be in the office — physically present and fully focused. The position is initially planned for 3 months, with the potential to extend based on performance and mutual fit.
What You Will Do
Marketplace product mapping: Assisting with product data matching, category mapping, and content alignment across different international marketplaces through the AI engine — this is the operational backbone of what we do, and you will learn it inside out.
Order management support: Tracking and coordinating daily order flows, shipment statuses, and operational exceptions with the sellers and carriers across our active markets.
Seller data operations: Organizing product catalogs, verifying product information, performing data entry and quality checks to ensure listing accuracy.
Commercial support: Contributing to pricing analyses, sales reporting, and ad-hoc commercial research as needed by the business development team.
Logistics & returns coordination: Following up on cross-border shipment and return processes with internal teams and external partners.
General operational support: Whatever the team needs on any given day — in a startup of our size, the most valuable people are those who don't draw boundaries around their job description.
Who You Are
A 3rd or 4th year university student who can commit at least 3 full days per week to in-office work in Istanbul, with the flexibility to do 4 or 5 days when your schedule allows. We need focus and consistency — not someone splitting attention across different commitments.
Curious about e-commerce, e-export, or digital marketplaces. You don't need deep expertise, but genuine interest matters.
Comfortable with Excel and basic data tools. If you can write a VLOOKUP without Googling it, you are ahead of most applicants.
Detail-oriented, organized, and persistent. The work involves tracking lots of moving parts across countries and platforms — sloppiness is expensive.
A doer, not a watcher. You see something that needs doing, you do it. You don't wait for instruction, you ask for forgiveness later. This is the single most important trait we are looking for.
Resilient and high-energy. Startup pace is not for everyone. If you want predictable hours and clearly scoped tasks, this is not the right fit.
Working proficiency in English (our marketplace operations, partner communications, and some documentations are in English).
Nice to Have
Studying International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering or a related field.
Prior exposure to e-commerce operations, marketplace platforms, or any form of online retail — even personal selling experience on Amazon or Etsy counts.
What You Get
Real cross-border e-commerce experience: You will see how products move from Turkish sellers to global marketplaces — the full pipeline, not a textbook version.
Startup exposure across functions: Operations, commercial, tech, business development — in a team of our size, you touch everything. This is the fastest way to figure out what you actually want to do after graduation.
Direct access to senior leadership: You will work alongside a founding team that has scaled cross-border operations across 30+ marketplaces and 100+ countries. The learning density here is unmatched.
A real reference, not a generic one: If you perform, you leave with a reference that speaks to specific contributions — not "attended meetings and was punctual."
Potential to grow: Outstanding interns who prove themselves will be first in line for full-time roles as the company scales.
Location
In-office, 3 to 5 days per week (minimum 3): Istanbul, Seba Office Boulevard, Sarıyer, Ayazağa Mah.
