Production Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical & Materials, or Automotive Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Willing to work in a production environment and actively participate in shop floor activities
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills
• Residing in or willing to relocate to the Istanbul Anatolian Side or Kocaeli region (Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova and surrounding areas)

Job Description

The Production Engineer will be responsible for supporting and improving production processes in line with company objectives, while ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction. 

Responsibilities

• Monitor production performance through continuous follow-up and information flow, ensuring timely intervention in potential issues and implementation of necessary actions.
• Develop effective solutions to operational issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the production processes.
• Lead and organize the team and operational workflows in alignment with customer and company expectations.
• Support initiatives aimed at continuously improving process performance and operational efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production-related issues, monitor non-conformities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in improvement projects and support the implementation of new processes and practices
• Coordinate daily activities with production teams and relevant departments
• Collaborate and coordinate effectively with team members, managers, and other departments.
• Lead the development of team capabilities in line with the skills matrix, ensuring progression to the highest levels.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements
