Import & Export Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Supervisor to oversee international trade, customs, and logistics operations for footwear, apparel, and sports accessories. This role ensures cost-efficient, compliant, and timely import, export, transit operations and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced retail environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in retail or sportswear
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and global logistics processes
• Proven experience in budget management and cost control
• Advanced English (written & spoken)
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and compliance awareness
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage all import, export, and transit operations in compliance with customs regulations
• Control and optimize the annual logistics OPEX budget
• Prepare and share monthly cost and tax reports with stakeholders
• Coordinate with customs brokers, forwarders, and overseas warehouses
• Oversee HS (GTIP) classification and monitor regulatory changes
• Manage sample and transit shipments
• Support ISO, GEKAP, and required testing/certification processes
• Ensure timely documentation for month-end closings and accounting purposes
