We are seeking a dynamic "Steel & New Business Development Manager (Experienced)" to join our growing team and play a key role in our Maslak/İstanbul Office.
General Qualifications:
- Have a good command of written and spoken English,
- Experienced in steel industry minimum 5 years,
- Strong network with major Turkish steel mills,
- Having a class B driver's license and being able to drive actively,
- Proven experience in sales, specifically within the Steel Industry,
- Ability to analyze market conditions and develop actionable insights.
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record in exploring new markets and identifying business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills,
- Able to work customer-oriented and manage customer relationships effectively,
- High persuasion ability, communication and presentation skills.
Job Description:
- Sales of imported steel products to Turkish customers.
- Exporting Turkish steel products to global markets.
- Developing and managing sales for new business items.
- Sales and purchases of steel materials are the main business area.
- Continuous communication with the supply and sales departments of customers and steel manufacturers is required.
- Cooperating with the head office on the management of the sales plan and the development of projects.
- Developing sales and purchasing strategies suitable for customer needs.
- Providing technical support and solution suggestions to customers.
