Utilities Maintenance Chief

For our SPANDEX (Elastane Yarn) production facility located in Kapaklı / Tekirdağ, we are looking for a Utilities Maintenance Chief with the following qualifications.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in utility systems and maintenance operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment,
• Strong knowledge of steam boilers,compressed air systems, cooling towers, chillers, and other utility equipment,
• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance planning,
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills,
• Proven leadership and team management experience,
• Familiarity with energy efficiency and continuous improvement practices,
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel,
• Preferably residing in or able to relocate to Çorlu, Çerkezköy, Kapaklı or Saray.
  (Company house will be provided for the candidates relocating from other cities.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the Boiler & Utility Maintenance team and ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of all utility systems,
• Plan, organize and supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for utility equipment,
• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and distribution systems,
• Monitor utility equipment performance and implement improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce downtime,
• Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and major overhaul activities,
• Analyze equipment failures, perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions,
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials and services,
• Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety, environmental and legal regulations related to utility operations,
• Monitor energy consumption and develop projects to improve energy efficiency and optimize operating costs,
• Prepare maintenance reports,technical documentation,
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure uninterrupted plant operations,
• Develop, coach and evaluate maintenance personnel while ensuring effective team performance.
