We are looking for an energetic team member who will work as full-time Configuration Manager on a project for our finance customer. This position is both applicable for fully remote working and hybrid working according to the candidate preference. The candidate should have the following qualifications:

Job Description:

• Establish, improve and maintain configuration and data management policies and procedures to ensure a standard and cost effective approach to the application of configuration and data management requirements.
• Ensure that software version control processes, policies, and procedures are followed
• Ensure the integrity, reliability and reproducibility of developing products from conception to release.
• Coordinate with development team on matters related to code check-ins, change tracking, build failures and communicating results of analysis.
• Develop and maintain configuration baselines 
• Provide regular/periodic metric reporting
• Manage the development and maintenance of configuration management tools 
• Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 year's experience in configuration management
• Excellent understanding of software configuration principles
• Ability to work with senior technical staff to optimize and improve CM practices.
• Understand the process of maintaining and developing the environment for software product build, staging, testing, and integration
• Working experience with Configuration Management Tools
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-973 Configuration Management principles
