QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

Franklin Electric, one of the leading manufacturers of international water and fueling systems, is looking for a Recruitment & Training Specialist. The position will be based at Impo Motor Pompa San. Tic. A.S. Izmir site, which is the leader of Turkish submersible pump industry.

The position will be responsible for developing and executing processes of  the Human Resources function for both white and blue collar employees. May support any or all the following HR programs including recruiting, employee trainings, employee satisfaction surveys, career planning, performance management and other related processes.

·         Bachelor’s degree in human resources, industrial relations or a related field

·         Minimum five years of relevant experience in human resources

·         Familiar with relevant laws affecting human resources and payroll, including but not limited to collective bargaining, health& safety issues etc.

·         Recruiting experience in a manufacturing company including both blue and white collar employees is a plus

·         National Vocational Qualification documentation experience is a plus

·         Industrial relations experience with union is a plus

·         Proficiency with recruiting processes and technology

·         Basic understanding of candidate selection, profile match and other selection processes

·         Good understanding of continuous improvement for administrative processes

·         Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with employment agency officers, union representatives, HR service providers, the general public, and other employees of the organization

·         Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business and personal information

·         Writes routine reports and correspondence

·         Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature

·         Plans the time, method, manner and/or performance sequence of own work

·         Completes some moderately repetitive tasks

·         Fluent in spoken and written English

·         Intermediate level on Microsoft Office suite is necessary

·         Team Player

·         For male candidates, military service should has been completed


JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Sources candidates utilizing internet search engines, other on-line tools and/or consulting firms

·         Conducts basic candidate screening including resume review and screening interviews

·         Enters employee and temporary associate data into the database system; this includes data on new employees, employee transfers, pay changes, department changes and terminations

·         Reviews and verifies background check results are complete

·         Manages National Vocational Qualification documentation process

·         Completes administrative activities for the hiring and onboarding process

·         Maintains temporary employee data, verifies temporary employee invoices, and assists managers with temporary employee needs

·         Maintains personnel records in the system and maintains paper files as needed

·         Distributes required new hire information to new employees

·         Prepares reports and compiles data as needed

·         Coordinates and schedules employee engagement activities and events

·         Educates internal and external customers on Franklin Electric human resource processes

·         Evaluates training needs and prepares the annual training plan and performs training effectiveness evaluation for both white and blue collar employees

·         Tracks and coordinates the administration of the performance evaluation procedure

·         Assists in the review of the employee handbook
