İnci GS Yuasa Akü Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. has 2 production facilities in Manisa and Sales Office in İstanbul. Its second facility in Manisa, foundations of which were laid in July 2010, has the feature of being the first BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certificated production facility of Turkey. İnci GS Yuasa Akü Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş is the“export leader” of its sector with exporting to over 80 countries in 4 continents and uses the brands İnci Akü, EAS, Hugel in automotive, heavy-duty and marine vehicles industries. Moreover, it uses its İnci Battery brand in the industrial produce sector.
We are seeking for a ‘Purchasing Specialist' with below qualifications to work for our company İnci GS Yuasa Aku Manisa Plant in Purchasing Department.

• Bachelor’s degree from a university
• Good oral and written communication skills in Turkish and English
• Good knowledge of MS Office programs
• Knowledge of SAP (MM) modules is an asset
• Min. 3 years of experience in purchasing activities,
• Good understanding of purchasing procedures (Sourcing Strategy, Tactical Planning, Supplier Selection and Supplier Measurement)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Being aware of tooling and barter operations
• Very good understanding of logistics issues, incorterms and material planning
• Understanding of financial terminology
• Being aware of payment terms (L/C, open account etc.)
• Personal Skills : Result oriented, good communication skills, curiosity, impact/convince others, accurate and analytical personality, open minded, good team player, cost based approach, complex calculation skills, understanding of feasibility and return of investment.

İŞ TANIMI

• Managing purchasing activities of plastic raw material, plastic injection compound etc.)
• Signing contracts with selected suppliers
• Being an active member of IPPC operations and develop purchase / import strategy accordingly
• Following up Plastic raw material from different research and creating pricing and hedging strategies.
• Planning the material arrivals according to the production plan and pricing strategy.
• Managing stock policy and keeping stocks at proper level
• Managing tolling agreements with existing suppliers and  researching new tolling opportunities all over the world
• Managing scrap collection activities and their logistics operation
• Developing strong relationship with existing suppliers
• Managing suppliers and coordinate communication between suppliers and internal customers
• Handling all commercial issues related to the suppliers
• Finding new suppliers and expand capable supplier alternatives
• Carrying out cost studies and change stragety according to the changing market conditions
• Carrying out tenders
• Collecting and reporting weekly data
