Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing processes. S/He are responsible for managing resources, maintaining quality standards, leading production teams, and resolving any issues that may arise during the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee production activities to meet production targets and deadlines
• Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities
• Schedule and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to optimize production processes
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to identify and resolve quality issues
• Lead and supervise production teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
• Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all employees
• Analyze root causes of problems and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize production processes
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and other relevant departments to resolve technical issues
• Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, inventory records, and shift logs
• Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, and quality metrics
• Coordinate with other operation departments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Preferable Food Engineering)
• Minimum 5 year of experience in food industry
• Advanced level in English
• Strong knowledge on food safety & food technology standards
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality management systems
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and production management software
