What you will do

The HR Specialist for Turkey is a key role for running the HR activities to implement and execute the people initiatives across in Istanbul Office. You will act as a strategic and visible administrator to the business leaders, helping their operations to deliver the business objectives. Due to being coverage of a maternity leave; it will be 7 months contracted.

 

You will provide expertise for the full scope of the HR function including employee onboarding, employee relations, employee engagement, HR reporting & data management, talent management, talent development and organizational design and change.

 

As a member of the regional HR team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your expertise to deliver our business objectives for Turkey facility across our entire portfolio.


How you will do it

As a HR Specialist, you will be responsible for handling the day-to-day human resources activities; preparing ad-hoc and regularly reports from other database; preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting and terminating; explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws and standards to new and existing employees; supporting the payroll process; assisting with training programs; coming up with creative ideas for employee retention and implementation of them.

You will be ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed; informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.; addressing any employment relations issues such as work complaints and harassment allegations; processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval; overseeing hiring process which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes and performing reference checks; organizing and running orientation sessions.

You are an assertive communicator, self-motivated, enthusiastic and have positive attitude which will help to the HR excellence for the region.

 

What we look for

Required

Bachelor degree in HR or equivalent

2-3 years of experience in overall HR, solid experience HR operations, recruitment, performance management, talent development and employee relations & engagement

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in MS office

Fluent language skills in English

Ability to travel within country

 

Preferred

Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
Able to generate simple statistical analyses and reports
