Powerships have a range of 30 MW to 470 MW and are delivered ready to operate in less than 60 days. To be employed within MEA&LATAM Directorate, we are looking for “MENA REGION SPECIALIST” who will be working mainly for our Power Plant projects in Middle East and North Africa. The candidate shall be based in the Head Quarter, Istanbul and responsible for the administrative and commercial part of Powership projects implementation. The successful candidate should have the following qualifications;
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related departments fromreputable universities, MBA or master degree is a plus,
- At least 2 years of experience required, preferably in international Project Management preferably in MENA region,
- Experience in the Power generation and/or Industrial sector in commercial project management capacity ideal,
- Thorough knowledge of project operations and financial processes,
- Fluency in Arabic and English both verbal and written is must,
- Very good command of MS Office Applications,
- High level of presentation skills,
- Financial understanding and business mindset is a plus,
- An outstanding eye for detail with a drive to provide exceptional administrative support,
- Ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment,
- Ability to work well as part of a strategic team in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, completing multiple complex tasks simultaneously,
- Good communication, negotiation & conflict management skills,
- Strong critical thinking and effective problem solving skills, practical mind set

- Support proactively all contractual matters related to the project, assist to follow performance criteria within the scope of the contract and defend the company against any contractual breaches and preserve interests,
- Helping to build a comprehensive understanding of the industry dynamics (competitors, customers, ecosystem partners, regulators, etc.),
- Assist to build relationships with the project stakeholders,
- Coordinating external advisors as well as a variety of internal teams during project management effort,
- Helping in preparation, submission and reception of documents/reports and make sure appropriate follow-up is made by concerned parties,
- Contribution to the evaluation process (cost, schedule, technical content, etc.) of identified development ideas during the Business Plan preparation,
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation,periodically progress reports.Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
