To be employed within Human Resources Directorate, we are looking for a “Technical Training Assistant Manager” with the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree form reputable universities preferably in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering departments.
- 5+ years of experience in Marine Maintenance Services or shipyards,
- Experienced in power generation for electrical energy or ship propulsions together with all auxiliary equipments and their systems.
- Experienced in the field of Operation and Maintenance of ship/power plant engines.
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes; e-learning software knowledge is an asset.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Team player and ability to work individually.
- Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Very good at planning, reporting and analysis.
- Ability to perform in a complex cross-functional business environment.
- No restrictions for travelling overseas.
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced as Technical Trainer / Technical Training Manager.
- Experienced in developing, designing and implementing technical training initiatives.
- Practical experience with training development processes, including the development of new concepts & programs and delivery of training,
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Technical Training Assistant Manager who will report to Training Manager will be responsible for the execution of technical training and professional development programs of all Powership Employees.
- To identify all training needs of all Powership employees.
- To prepare the Annual Technical Training Plan of all Powership plants and make recommendations for developing training strategies.
- Planning technical trainings by contacting external suppliers.
- To organize and conduct technical orientation training of Powership employees (Prime Mover, Turbocharger, Chemicals, Auxilaries-Support Systems, Oil-Fuel Systems, Shift Systems).
- To introduce the corporate culture and philosophy in orientation processes.
- To prepare technical training reports.
- To prepare online technical training contents.
- To prepare materials and presentations to be used in technical trainings and tests, questionnaires, assestments to be carried out before, during and after trainings.
- To keep the development of the trainings continuously.
- To prepare and announce the monthly/quarterly training bulletin.
