Position Summary

The Regional Export Manager is responsible for developing and managing export sales of wood coatings, decorative paints, and industrial coatings across European markets.

This role focuses on market development, distributor management, regulatory compliance, sales growth, and profitability, in alignment with the company’s global export strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement export sales strategies for assigned European countries to achieve volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, target segments, and potential distributors/customers.
  • Establish, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with distributors, key accounts, and strategic partners across Europe.
  • Lead pricing strategies, prepare commercial offers, negotiate contracts, and manage agreements in line with company policies.
  • Coordinate export operations including order management, logistics, customs documentation, and delivery performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with European regulations and standards (REACH, CLP, CE marking, VOC directives, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with Technical, R&D, Production, and Marketing teams to support product positioning, technical approvals, and customer trainings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support continuous product and strategy improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, performance reports, and risk assessments for senior management.
  • Represent the company at international trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer meetings.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of international export sales experience, preferably in paints, coatings, chemicals, or related industrial products.
  • Strong knowledge of European export regulations, chemical compliance, and international trade practices.
  • Proven ability in distributor management, international negotiations, and key account development.
  • Fluent English is mandatory; additional European languages (German, French, Spanish,) are a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office tools.
