We are now looking for a Purchasing Trainee to join our Procurement Team.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career in procurement, supported by effective negotiation, stakeholder management, and quantitative analysis skills. They should also be eager to learn and capable of engaging with topics such as sustainability, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, risk management, and ethics.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Evaluate supplier proposals based on commercial and technical criteria and provide recommendations,
• Support price and contract negotiations, monitor procurement processes, and ensure service quality,
• Track purchase order, goods receipt, and invoicing processes,
• Analyze service/product demand levels, pricing trends, and industry dynamics,
• Add value to company expenditures through proactive cost management,
• Support strategic sourcing initiatives aimed at cost savings and operational efficiency,
• Conduct complex statistical and quantitative analyses and develop insights and recommendations,
• Prepare regular reports in line with procurement KPIs,
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to support innovation,
• Ensure compliance with the company’s local and global policies, procedures, and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Final-year Bachelor’s degree student in Business Administration, Economics and Engineering, or related fields,
• No prior work experience required,
• Available for a long-term internship (6–12 months),
• Residing in Istanbul,
• Able to work at least three full days per week (flexible scheduling is possible),
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills,
• Proficiency in English,
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
