BUYER ASSISTANT – ALDO TURKEY

We are looking for a highly analytical and motivated Buyer Assistant to join the ALDO Turkey team. The ideal candidate will have advanced Excel skills, excellent command of English, and a strong interest in developing a career in fashion retail and buying.

This position will directly support the Brand Director and Buyers across buying, merchandise planning, sales and inventory analysis, and brand management activities for ALDO's footwear, handbags and accessories categories.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field,
• Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in buying, merchandising, category management, planning, retail or a related field,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to actively participate in business meetings,
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS and similar functions,
• Ability to work with large data sets and analyze sales and inventory data to generate meaningful insights,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset,
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively,
• Strong planning, follow-up and organizational skills,
• Strong communication and coordination skills,
• Strong interest in fashion, footwear and the retail industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Support the Brand Director and Buyers in preparing seasonal buying plans for ALDO footwear, handbags and accessories,
• Analyze and report product, sales, inventory, pricing and performance data on a regular basis,
• Prepare sales, inventory, sell-through and product performance analyses using Excel,
• Support the preparation of analyses and reports for seasonal product selections and buying decisions,
• Monitor sales performance and inventory levels to identify opportunities and potential risks,
• Maintain regular written and verbal communication in English with ALDO's Global Head Office,
• Assist with local sourcing and product development processes and coordinate with local manufacturers,
• Monitor competitors, consumer trends, pricing and overall market dynamics,
• Collaborate closely with retail operations and store teams to support and improve product and sales performance,

Take an active role in commercial and operational projects led by the Brand Director and Buyers.
