We are looking for Buyers / Senior Buyers for handling local & foreign purchasing activities, basically for promotional market including the product ranges such as toys, gifts, stationery items , electronic items , bags , garments , pop materials, give away products , promotional items etc.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from reputable universities
• 1-5 years of experience in purchasing industry is preferred.
• Personality with strong negotiation, communication & planning,
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure,
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to act as a business partner;
• High skill of communication in person and result oriented, high achiever, good team player,
• Good command of verbal and written English skills,
• Male candidates should have completed military service

Job Description:

• Develop cost saving strategies to catch the target budgets ,
• Communicating with suppliers and taking responsibility in supplier management  including the whole order process .
• Evaluate the suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed and update the supplier list periodically.
• Interview vendors and visit suppliers' plants and distribution centers to examine and check & learn about products, services, and prices
• Attend meetings, trade shows, and conferences to learn about new industry trends and make contacts with suppliers
• Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable prices
• Meet with staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action
• Working in coordination with sales & design team,
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities
• Filling reports on a weekly basis
• Identifying and investigating new business opportunities,
• Watching the changes on European & American design trends for toys, promotional items, give away items, garments, kitchen items, housewares etc
• Coordination with Quality Control Department according to customer regulations
