About Job
Role Purpose
- In line with our company’s organizational restructuring and strategic transformation objectives, this role is responsible for leading end-to-end engineering activities, ensuring alignment of projects with technical, operational, and commercial requirements, and transforming the engineering function in accordance with the company’s evolving business model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects (systems, mechanical, hardware, and software) end-to-end
- Actively contribute to and steer technical proposal and bidding processes
- Ensure delivery of projects in line with technical specifications, budget, quality, and timelines
- Establish and maintain an integrated working model with Production & Test, Programmes, and Business Development teams
- Drive the restructuring and optimization of the engineering organization and resource planning
- Manage outsourcing activities and technical coordination with suppliers
- Monitor technological developments, innovation opportunities, and R&D incentives
- Prepare and manage the engineering department budget with a focus on efficiency
- Lead team performance, competency development, and capability building processes
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and information security requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience in DO-254, DO-178c , DO-160 standards applications in engineering activities and familiarization for EASA standards
- Preferably experience in defense industry or high-technology sectors
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering team management
- Strong knowledge of system, mechanical, hardware, and/or software development processes
- Experience in project management, budgeting, and resource planning
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Proven experience in change management and transformation initiatives (strong asset)

- Experience in international companies
- Background in R&D and innovation-driven projects
- Experience in defense or aerospace projects
