We are one of the leading Management & Technology Consulting firm in Turkish Financial Services Sector and we would like to strengthen our High Performing Team consisting of a wide range of-TaLeNtS- from new graduates to experienced professionals.
 
We are currently seeking a "Risk Consultant - Regulatory Compliance & Reporting"

You will:

• Assist our team and participate in the delivery of financial service consulting projects b based on Regulatory Compliance and Legal Reporting,
  
• Identify all impacted stakeholders and enable collaboration between them to understand their needs from a business and customer/user perspective,
  
• Gather business requirements and translate requirements into appropriate technical specifications,
  
• Understand and identify the correct resources to help validate both requirements and specifications,
  
• Provide lightweight documentation to capture important context on the project domain, whenever necessary,
  
• Work as a bridge between Clients’ Business Units and IT departments by guiding/assisting our software developers during the construction of data and reporting architecture.
  
• Conduct all related tasks in requirements gathering, definition, business planning, data analysis, process analysis, business and functional requirements analysis, system design, functionality/technical testing implementation, end-user interviews.

You have:

• Bachelor’s Degree from Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Electric/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, MIS and related quantitative fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Legal Reporting /Regulatory Compliance as a part of Bank Business Unit or IT Department.
• End-to-End, hands-on reporting experience targeting at least 2 of the following authorities: Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Central Bank of Turkey, Ministry Of Treasury and Finance, KKB, Savings Deposits Insurance Fund of Turkey.
• Strong Interpretation skills regarding new regulations from domestic and/or foreign authorities (ie. BIS).
• Strong knowledge of Bank Accounting.
• Robust knowledge of Banking Business Cycle.
• Enthusiasm for building a successful career path in FinTech Industry.
• Familiarity with statistical and mathematical expressions.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint Skills.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Basic understanding of programming and database (SQL) concepts.

Great if you also have:

• Graduate degree from a related quantitative field.
• Prior experience in any of the following fields: Bank-IT/DWH, ALM Treasury, ALM Risk, Credit Risk, Bank Inspection, FinTech & Consultancy.
• Adequate knowledge in core banking information systems.
• Hands on experience in any of the following programming languages: SAS, SQL, R.
• Prior hands-on involvement in any project or task based on financial analytics/modelling.
