About Job
We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our Head Office in Tuzla, Istanbul and contribute to the analysis, development, and improvement of our logistics operations.
Job Description
- Analyze existing logistics and operational processes and identify areas for efficiency and improvement,
- Evaluate and improve warehousing, distribution, and shipment processes,
- Conduct efficiency, capacity, time, and cost analyses of operational processes,
- Plan and support process improvement initiatives and monitor their results,
- Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations,
- Analyze operational data and prepare regular reports and improvement recommendations for management,
- Conduct cost analyses and forecasting studies and develop models to support cost optimization,
- Develop and improve workflows, procedures, and process documentation to standardize business processes,
- Analyze requirements related to systems and software used in logistics processes and coordinate improvement initiatives with relevant departments,
- Support the development of logistics solutions and process designs based on new projects and customer requirements,
- Carry out analysis and coordination activities for projects involving internal departments, customers, and business partners,
- Monitor industry trends and best practices and provide recommendations for improving existing processes,
- Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, with international customers and business partners when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering,
- Good command of written and spoken English,
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel,
- Strong skills in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring,
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
- Process-oriented mindset with an interest in process analysis and continuous improvement,
- Strong planning, organizational, and follow-up skills,
- Ability to interpret quantitative data and develop practical solutions,
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across different departments,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills,
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team,
- Willingness to learn, develop, and adapt to new approaches and technologies,
- Previous experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or operational processes is preferred,
- Residing on the Asian side of Istanbul, preferably in or around Tuzla, or having no transportation constraints,
- For male candidates, military service must be completed or there must be no outstanding military obligation.
