Key responsibilities

Business Continuity

• Ensure full compliance with all local laws, regulations and policies.

• Ensure that local documentary requirements are satisfied (I.e. board minutes, shareholders’ authorisation, etc.)

• Be the point of contact for Authorities in case of controls or enquiries.

• Ensure timely completion of annual GA

• Ensure Signature Circular is up to date

• Ensure annual dividends are paid out timely

Statutory & Tax and Accounting

• Drives error free accounting and accurate reporting with GSC.

• Advise & coach GSC on TR accounting & tax.

• Ensure our tax declarations are compliant with tax law and filed on time.

• Support the Regional Tax Manager in proactively managing any potential risks and exposures.

• Act as local focal point for auditors, with guidance from GSC.

• Lead VAT refund process and ensure timely resolution.

• Represent the company in meetings with the tax authority, supported as required by the Regional Tax Manager and/or Centre Tax.

Additional responsibilities to consider

• Delegated approvals (e.g.: POs, SMDS, Credits, Waivers, etc.).

• Address on-demand business issues.

We are looking for

• A financial educational background as a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Chartered Accountant qualification.

• Prior proven experience (at least 5 years) in a similar function or in a consulting firm.

• Can influence without authority.

• Preferably experienced in working closely with offshore teams in service centres.
