International Logistics & Freight Operations Executive

We are hiring an experienced Senior International Logistics & Freight Operations Specialist / Manager to join our growing international trade and operations team.

We are a 32-year-established international commodities and metals trading company, actively trading and distributing 300+ industrial raw materials, metals, minerals, ores, ferroalloys, foundry materials, chemicals, and related commodities across global markets.

Our logistics operation is high-volume, fast-moving, and internationally diversified. On a monthly basis, we manage approximately 300 import and export containers, in addition to bulk cargo shipments, breakbulk cargo shipments, part cargo shipments, and project-based deliveries across multiple trade routes.

We are looking for a strong logistics professional who has gained serious hands-on experience in shipping line operations, ocean freight, international freight forwarding, container logistics, bulk/breakbulk cargo coordination, and import-export execution.

The ideal candidate should be capable of managing complex international shipments end-to-end, negotiating with carriers and forwarders, solving operational problems quickly, controlling costs, and ensuring smooth shipment flow between suppliers, customers, ports, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing international import and export shipments from booking to final delivery
• Coordinating containerized cargo, bulk cargo, breakbulk cargo, and part cargo operations
• Handling freight quotations, route comparisons, booking confirmations, vessel schedules, and shipment planning
• Communicating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, port agents, warehouses, suppliers, and customers
• Monitoring shipment status, transit times, ETD/ETA changes, port congestion, rollovers, delays, and operational risks
• Managing shipping documentation, including bills of lading, commercial documents, packing lists, certificates, and related logistics paperwork
• Controlling demurrage, detention, free time, storage, port charges, freight invoices, and logistics costs
• Supporting freight negotiation and carrier/forwarder performance evaluation
• Ensuring strong coordination between sales, purchasing, finance, customs, and operations teams
• Improving logistics efficiency, cost control, reporting quality, and operational discipline
