MAT Filtration Technologies was established to provide the highest possible efficiency equipment and services on water filtration technology. Specifically MAT was established in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey and was founded by fish husbandry industry experts. Our expertise in animal husbandry for over 35 years is our biggest competitive advantage. Furthermore we understand animal behavior and we know in depth the operational needs to run properly a facility. Our company develops and tests the equipment performance and ensures its ease of operation on our marine fish quarantine facility in Izmir. In addition we have designed our organisation to deliver successfully and on-time demanding projects in any part of the world. Finally MAT has developed to become a design, manufacturing and contracting leader in the field of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and specialty filtration technologies. Currently, we employ over 200 highly-skilled staff of multiple nationalities.

We are looking for a FRONT-DESIGN & ESTIMATION ENGINEER with the qualifications below;

•  BS/MS degree in Mechanical or other related engineering disciplines from a reputable university,
• Min 5 years Experience/Knowledge about one of the subjects following; MEP Projects /WaterTreatment /ChemicalPlants Design /ProcessEngineering / EP&CProjects / InternationalProjectsTendering
• Good command of AutoCAD 2D applications is must and experience with PLANT 3D, Autocad MEP and/or Revit is preferred.
• Good Knowledge of performing quantity takeoff
• Good Knowledge of PID drawings
• Good command of English with Advanced Official Writing /Speaking Skills (interviews will be conducted in English)
• Good knowledge of MS officeprograms (especially MS Excel),
• Good knowledge of time programming of the projects (MS Project, Project Libre of Equivalent),
•  Interpersonal and analitical thinking skills,
• Good Knowledge of technical specification reading,
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems,
• To have an ability to work in a planned and quick manner,
• To be a team player/leader with strong communication skills
• No restriction for travelling in and out of country,
• Willing to work extra hours when necessary
• No obligation for military service (for male candidates)
• Driving licence. (class B)

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Apply Front Design Engineering studies
• Generate detailed cost estimations
• Prepare technically & commercially competitive proposals, based on clients requirements
• Review any requests for proposals and identify resources required both internally and externally
• Liaise with other departments in order to compose tenders
• Attend project kick-off meetings and ensure effective communication with other departments
• Apply system design calculations and preliminary drawings
• Investigate or prepare project specifications
• Communicate with equipment suppliers
• Cooperate with sales department to satisfy clients technically
• Cooperate with design department to provide effective and creative solutions
• Cooperate with EPC Projects department to aid in ensuring healthy project
