QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Founded in Istanbul in 1991, Mavi designs a full collection of jeans-wear, for young women and men. With the approach of “design carries the product to the brand”, Mavi cooperates with designers and consultants from all over the world and has a multi-cultural designer team based in İstanbul. Most famous and successful jean designer Adriano Goldschmied, queen of best-fits Venucia de Russi, Rıfat Özbek, who designed his first jeans collection for Mavi, Hussein Chalayan, who designed his first collection with a Turkish brand, are some of the world famous designers that Mavi has already worked with.

We are looking for a E-Commerce Category Supervisor who has:

  • Bachelor degree from a reputable university in related fields,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail industry,
  • Preferably 2 year experience in Category management/planning,
  • Knowledge of online platforms, merchandising, retail, e-commerce and multi-channel retailing,
  • Strong analytical approach, reporting skills and attention to detail,
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken,
  • Great organisation capability - able to achieve results within tight deadlines and attention to detail,
  • Very effective communication skills and one-to-one working competency,
  • No military obligations for male candidate,

Job Description

The key duties of the successful candidate are;

  • Reporting to Senior E-Commerce Category Manager,
  • Defines, implements and optimizes online merchandising & sales strategy and tactics for online platform to meet business objectives,
  • Maintaining clean well merchandised category pages & consistent and accurate pricing and inventory accuracy/availability,
  • Managing and creating online promotional programs,
  • Creating and executing strategies for product up-sell and cross-sell,
  • Identifying, developing and controling product content including product photos,
  • Managing daily in site merchandising (banners, toplinks, product sorting, recommendation, cross sell, top sellers, badges etc.) placement on the site to ensure our promotions are receiving maximum visibility,
  • Adjusting product positioning based on changes in sales metrics,
  • Manages KPI’s and provides in-depth online retail performance analysis with deep business acumen and P/L experience,
  • Providing guidance and recommendations on daily operations, key performance indicators & best practices,
  • Stays current with ecommerce market and industry trends. Seeks, evaluates, and drives new ecommerce experiences/Technologies to drive the pyramid forward,
