Role Summary
The Quality Engineer (line audits) position is responsible for planning, coordination and realizing of band audits and problem solving. This position utilizes the combined skills of data analysis, manufacturing process knowledge, automotive quality tools and structured problem solving, to support and improve build team’s quality performance.
This position requires the ability to work with multi-national teams to develop scale allignments, procedures, and standards and also deep technical knowledge in quality and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive or Industrial Engineering
• Ability to communicate in German and/or English
• Knowledge of Lean Management & Problem Solving Methods.
• Good in the office programs and systems.
• General vehicle knowledge and about processes and products
• Knowledge of the ISO 9001, IATF 16949 Quality Management System or VDA 6.3 standards.

Job Description

• Planning, coordination and execution of line audits.
• Capacity planning for new projects and for additional requirements from audit team.
• Support/train the Quality Gates employees of production
• Preparation of regular statistics and reporting to the executive management level of Wörth and Aksaray.
• Tracking monthly targets and monthly reporting of these targets.
• Coordination of the problem solving process via the Daimler Truck specific systems and regular quality meetings with the responsible people.
• Conducting necessary problem analysis with affected areas and participation/managing of Task Force Teams with containment and structured problem-solving
