Robotics Automation Project Engineer
About Job
We are looking for a Robotics Automation Project Engineer to join our engineering team and take an active role in robotics-driven industrial automation projects.
The role will mainly focus on robotic automation applications; however, the selected candidate may also be involved in custom machinery projects, automation systems, field implementation, commissioning, and international project assignments when required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, machinery projects, or project management
- Hands-on experience in project implementation, field work, commissioning, or technical coordination
- Experience in programming at least one industrial robot brand such as ABB, KUKA, Stäubli, or similar
- Experience with offline robot programming and simulation software such as KUKA.Sim, RobotStudio, or similar tools
- Knowledge of PLC systems, servo systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication protocols
- Basic knowledge of Python programming is an advantage
- Experience or interest in image processing, computer vision, or machine learning applications is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
- Preferably familiar with robotic applications such as welding, material handling, painting, press automation, assembly, picking, packing, and palletizing
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Practical, solution-oriented, and able to think from multiple perspectives
- Customer-focused and result-oriented working approach
- Able to drive actively and travel domestically or internationally when required
- Disciplined, responsible, organized, and a strong team player
- Good command of MS Office programs
- Residing in Bursa or willing to relocate to Bursa.
Responsibilities
- Review project standards, specifications, technical documents, and customer requirements
- Prepare technical documentation and project groundwork mainly for robotic automation projects
- Support the selection and coordination of robots, end-effectors, automation equipment, machinery components, and other project systems
- Create or support 3D simulations, robot reach studies, layout studies, and technical project planning
- Develop, test, and support robot programs
- Take part in machinery, automation, and system integration projects when required
- Follow up project schedules, work packages, and technical deliverables
- Coordinate project activities with mechanical, electrical, software, production, and procurement teams
- Prepare technical reports related to assigned projects and field activities
- Provide technical support to customers during project execution, installation, and commissioning
- Participate in domestic and international site visits, installation, commissioning, and project meetings when required
