The ideal candidate will be qualified CPA and have minimum of 6 years of total experience with tax background, strong experience in accounting , tax, internal controls and reporting preferably in a multinational company. You should also have strong knowledge of SAP and proficient use of MS Excel. You should possess strong communication skills and be comfortable liaising with people at all levels in different regions/countries. You should be commercially aware and enjoy interacting with cross functional teams across an organisation. A self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.

Daily Responsibilities:
•Ensuring accounting is accurate and complete and recorded in line with policy and processes, Turkish Local GAAP and IFRS;
•Ensuring all statutory ledger components are compliant with local regulations;
•Timely completion of month-end close activities and reconciliations;
•Prepares all local tax and legal related documentation and other queries from governmental institutions;
•Be responsible for work outlined in the Accounting, ensuring alignment with local country regulations, as well as corporate and regional documentation and reporting needs;
•To ensure compliance with organisational and governmental policies and procedures;
•Supervise the accurate completion of the day-to-day functions of the accounting department;
•Manage month-end accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the ledgers, sub-journals and all supporting documentation;
•Review monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and balance sheet accounts, and monthly cost allocations;
•Continuously monitor and systematically control SAP proper functioning;
•Participate or lead functional projects;
•Preparation and declaration of tax returns on time, all the legal reporting’s accomplishments, executions;
•Participate in business planning, budgeting, forecasting and policy development;
•Oversee daily management of the accounting team;
•Assist in responding to audit inquiries and requests for financial information.
