QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

MİTAŞ GROUP established in 1955 and currently operates on a global scale in the fields of energy, telecommunication, lighting, chemistry and informatics. The products involve steel towers, poles, structures and fasteners for power transmission and distribution lines, substations, telecommunication, broadcasting, lighting and renewable energy. MİTAŞ GROUP is exporting to more than 135 countries in 5 continents.

The Group has its headquarters in Ankara and factories in İzmir, Kocaeli and Italy.

We are looking for an International Overseas Sales Director to lead the Telecom Towers Sales team at Mitaş Group headquarter office in Ankara.
 
Sales Director is a key member of the telecom leadership team providing tactical and strategic leadership of sales department.
 
This position will report to the EVP, Sales & Marketing.

Skills & Knowledge
 
  • At least 5 years of overseas sales experience in telecommunication sector (telecom towers or TV towers)
  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience as a sales manager or director
  • The ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Great communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills

  • Lead the telecom sales team
  • Be a mentor and a coach of the sales team
  • Maximizing new business development opportunities
  • Identifying valuable emerging markets
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories
  • Manage the business line budget to achieve target volume and operating profit
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
  • Forming sales strategies to keep company competitive and innovative
