Warehouse Specialist

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join ourOperations eam who will lead to ensure that warehousing and handling operations of 3PL company is in line with Nestlé Good Warehousing Practices, objectives and principles and maintain the supply chain integrity of distribution operations physically held by 3PL.

Main Responsibilities;

• Implementing, monitoring and managing Safety, Health and Environment, Quality regulations and Best Practices                                 
• Supporting Logistics service and productivity levels                                   
• Managing labor and equipment utilization                                    
• Drive/Support cost saving initiatives to improve performance and cost of the warehouse operation           
• Influence Contract Management in order to continuously improve service and cost through                         
• Regular communication that will keep Sales Team and CSC updated to manage proactively                             
• Collaboration with Customer Suplly Chain , Production,Planing and Transport to ensure customer service level, freshness and avoidance of bad

goods                

• Ensure that continuous improvement philosophy is in place within the DC, by process optimization and control                                 
• Supports and helps the LEAN roll out, ensuring that a continuous improvement culture is developed and sustained and Motivates 5S             
• Ensure dispatch of materials at right time and right quantity                                 
• Ensure that reverse logistics operation is done accurately on time                                         
• Follow up the solutions and actions of CRR issues related distribution operations                            
• To maintain SAP system integrity within DC, with super user role                                         
• All employees at all levels shall not endanger the health and safety of themselves, other workers, visitors or members of the general public.  They shall adhere to company instructions, procedures and systems and cooperate with the company in meeting occupational safety, health and risk requirements.                               

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

-At least 1 - 2 year relevant and successful operational experience in warehouse operations.                                

- University degree(master degree preferred)   

-Relevant operational experience at market/business level, in the following areas is beneficial:

Customer Service

Transportation,  Demand & Supply Planning

Experience in the management of projects such as:

- Warehouse Design

- Distribution Network Redesign

- High Performance Logistics

- Customer Logistics

-Desirable to have had worked on a position in a LEAN

organization, who has adapted LEAN concepts and tools as part of their way of working
