Purchasing Manager

As the world’s leading smart irrigation company, we are seeking for Purchasing Manager to manage our company's procurement activities in Turkiye Plant in Adana. The purchasing manager's core responsibilities include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities.

Primary Roles I Responsibilities 

• Managing the procurement of the equipment and goods related to the all type of activities for GBUs.
• Supporting the purchasing global activities, working with the Global Procurement Managers
• Sourcing, developing and managing the local/global suppliers
• Reviewing and analysing the all local/global suppliers market related to the production activities, demands, availability, trends etc.
• Cooperating with internal stakeholders and purchasers in the business units
• Conducting purchasing processes: sourcing, qualifying suppliers, negotiation terms and contracts and other

• Establishing processes including control and reporting tools

• Complying with personal and team KPIs

Knowledge I Qualifications I Skills I Personality

• Min. 8 years experience in international purchasing and global procurement  processes - Polymer market is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or institution
• Good command of  English ; speaking, reading writing
• Experience in global organizations
• Basic technical knowledge - experience in industrial is an advantage
• Experience working with ERP systems is a must - working with SAP , BI systems is advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications
• Experienced in leading global processes, strong market analytical skills and wide overview on the organization's needs.
• Leadership ability and being able to negotiate the best possible deals with suppliers and excellent project procurement management skills
• Vast networking, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• International procurement management experience
• Self-motivated detail oriented and hard worker
• Collaborative and people oriented team leader, strategic, development and planning skills to drive cross-functional teams
