What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience (mid-level to senior) in data engineering, analytics, data warehousing or a related field
- Proficient in Python, with experience working with REST APIs, Postman, and data file formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- Strong knowledge of SQL concepts: Normalization, ACID, SCD, CDC
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Project experience in at least one major cloud environment (Azure, AWS,GCP, SAP BTP)
- Comfortable with Linux command line and basic CI/CD practices
- Experience building data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and familiarity with data integration design principles
- Eager to learn, share knowledge, and work as part of a team
Nice to Have: Cloud & Modern Data Stack
- Familiarity with Datalake, Data Hub, and Lakehouse architectures
- Experience with MPP Databases like Snowflake, Redshift, Vertica
- Hands-on with streaming data platforms like Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, Azure Event Hubs, AWS Kinesis
- Experience with data virtualization tools (e.g., Denodo, Data Virtuality) On-Premise & Hybrid Data Ecosystems
- Experience with on-premise data warehouses such as SAP BW, Oracle, Teradata or SQL Server
- Solid understanding of traditional ETL tools like SAP Data Services, Knime, Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Comfortable working in hybrid environments where both cloud and on-premise systems coexist
- Familiarity with SAP Analytics solutions: SAP HANA,SAP BW/4HANA,SAP Datasphere
- Experience integrating SAP data sources into enterprise data lakes or warehouses
